As a BSc Hons Natural Historian and MA Wildlife Filmmaker with distinction, I am well educated in the biology, ecology, geography and natural documentary filmmaking worlds. As a camera operator in the natural history realm, I believe that understanding your subject and its environment is key to capturing “the ideal sequence”.
I have worked freelance on a multitude of projects in the natural history genre, with camera operator credits in broadcast and I’m an award winning self-shooting producer in digital realm. Having travelled the globe on a variety of different shoots and expeditions for scientific purposes, I am well accustomed to working in a plethora of filming environments.
I specialise in shooting “Blue Chip” style content, but have also shot a variety of sync based programs and digital projects with wildlife presenters such as Chris Packham, Steve Backshall, Mike Dilger, Patrick Aryee, Martin Hughes-Games, Mark Carwardine, Nigel Marven, Nick Baker, Bill Oddie, Miranda Krestovnikoff, Simon King and Anneka Svenska.
